Thursday night bachata in downtown Vancouver: Roger's Bachata ME party at SalsaStudio, 927 Granville Street, runs 9:30pm to midnight every Thursday. The music is about 90 percent modern bachata with a splash of romantic salsa. Party only entry is $10, free for students enrolled in a SalsaStudio bachata series. Bachata lessons run earlier in the evening (Bachata 1 at 7:20pm, Bachata 2 at 8:30pm), and new six-week series start October 29. A dedicated bachata social on the Granville strip, run by the same team as Salsa Mondays and the Duello Saturday party.
