Free beginner salsa and bachata classes every Thursday from Rueda de la Vida at Anomaly Studios, 76 West 6th Avenue in Mount Pleasant, Vancouver. Beginner salsa runs 7 to 8pm and beginner bachata 8 to 9pm, both completely free, followed by a social dance from 9 to 10pm where you can try out what you just learned. Registration is required but quick and free through ruedadance.org. No partner or experience needed, which makes this one of the easiest ways to start dancing salsa or bachata in Vancouver. These free beginner classes moved from Sundays to Thursdays starting October 8, 2026.
